Proline Vs Police/Bunna'

Despite playing all their games away from home, Proline Soccer Academy have made steady progress in the Kakungulu Cup.
The Lugogo-based team qualified for the quarterfinals where they will face the winner between Police FC and Bunamwaya.

To make it this far, Proline have had to travel as far as Kabale, where they defeated Fulham and left the locals awed by their skill and maturity. They won the march 3-1 in the presence of Englishman Julian Ferdinand, father of Premiership stards Rio and Anton. Julian is patron of the academy.

Rough road
A short trip to Kazo followed and Proline returned with a hard-fought victory against KA&Se. the win though didn't come easily. They had to play on a terrible surface and only won a penalty shootout 4-3 after regular time ended 0-0. "We tried to talk to FUFA to bring the game to our Namboole home ground but in vain. We haven't received any explanation as to why we are playing all our games away". Praline Academy proprietor Mujib Kasule said.

Age just a number
The youthful side that fields players under 18years of age notched a 1-0 victory on Monday against Standard High to reach the quarterfinals.

They have had to cope with more mature opponents but it has not hindered their progress.
"if you are good enough, you are old enough. The boys think maturely and have a good mentality. That's why they can match any opponent".

Bring on Police
Every team in the county dreads playing Police FC, the current Super League table leaders but Kasule thinks otherwise. "The boys want to face Police because it's the best team at the moment". Next month, the team will travel to England to play the reserve sides of Man Utd, Portsmouth and Milwall.
