THE INVINCIBLE U - 10 BEAT SUPERSTARS
Proline soccer academy's U - 10 kids maintained their unbeaten run in all fixtures by defeating Kisugu Super Stars counters parts 2 - 1 on Saturday 24th May, 2008. This game so far has been the hardest according to their coach Abubakar Mbowa. Mbowa also said, "Having beaten this very side 3- 1 early this year, this time they came to give us a run for our money which is good competition anyway. But I want to thank the kids for their hard fought victory."
Joshua Okiror got Proline's opener in first half which was a balanced half according to the both coaches. Tough there was little at stack in terms of goal.
Second half, the visitors put up a strong contest which saw them getting a penalty off Sharif Ssejjuko. Seven minutes later, Bunjo Swidiq put Proline back in a driving seat with a 2 - 1 advantage with a sole effort strike. Prolne's would be third goal was hit against the wood work by Bunjo before Andrew Katumwe "Andy" Flattered a minus from Yakubu Kayongo.
In a different game, Proline's joint team of U - 6 and U - 8 were again beat by the same Kisugu Superstars (U - 8) kids who defeated them in March (0 -3) by 1-4. Proline got their consolation goal from Moses, a student of Little Angles Nursery School. Their trainer Baker Kasule said the reason his kids were beaten was due to childishness and the constant recruitment of players into the U - 10 category.
