MOKONO'S K UNITED HOLD PROLINE
Super division a spring team K United F.C from Mukono has today 1st June 2008 drawn (0-0) with Proline soccer Academy's U -18 side who are yet to win a game since their return from a two week long England tour last months.
Proline who lost their much anticipated semifinal Kakungulu Cup game (Uganda's F.A Cup) 2 - 0 to Kinyara F.C on Monday were a better side in first half. Had a bigger share of ball possession but have to blame it on their wasteful strikers for restance Edema Patrick failed to covert a free header from a Kyeyune Badru "Utility" cross, heading the ball straight into the Goal keeper's hands. Eight minutes later Juma Sakali tapped a long range in-swinger from left back, Matovu Suleiman "Malounda" off target. Hardly two minutes Edama's effort was off target from Robert Wambe initiated counter attack.
In second half, the game could have gone either way because both teams came close time to time. The visitors (Proline) closest were a keeper to beat killer pass from substitute Imama Isaac "Bumbuli" to pick up Edema who slide. And another substitute Apollo Ewatu Razak miskicked a fine cross from Matovu Suleiman. For K United F.C has to blame their sloppy strikers who could not take advantage of a rebounded lose ball from Proline's Goalkeeper Bulukhan Mayanja Ssebugwawo who misjudged a cross.
Away from that Proline's U-16 team beat Kabira international School 1-2 last Sunday, goals from Mugala Richard and Kakaire Gabriel in either halves respectively.
